Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK) just concluded its third year of NMK Roadshow that started this September in Oman, continued to Qatar and finished in Kuwait last week. The series of one-day seminars were free to attend and delivered a range of presentations and hands-on demonstrations to attendees from varying market sectors across the region.

As the distributor had partnered with Audinate for this year’s road show, the events focused especially on Dante, with each seminar beginning with a presentation on the technology. The seminar opened up a room for discussion on the new technologies raising several interesting questions and opinions. NMK Team in the cooperation with several manufacturers delivered the excellent presentations and the attendees left the room with lots of new information and topics to discuss with their peers.

Creative Communication Group (CCG) was on hand during the seminar in Qatar, with its representatives discussing the Neutrik’s Xirium Digital Wireless Audio network that it deployed at Qatar’s National Day celebrations.

“It was the first time that I participated in the NMK Roadshow. I was impressed with the arrangements and the level of the presentations. It was clear by their level of engagement that the visitors felt that the roadshow was very educational and informative,” recalled Per Persson, Director of International Sales at Williams Sound, LLC. “To me, it is very important to meet first hand with dealers, integrators and consultants in the region, so Williams Sound will definitely plan to participate in the NMK Roadshow again in the future.”

A one-day Microflex Advance Certification training course was held the day after each seminar. “The purpose of the certification is to introduce our new technology to our partners on a personal level. We start by talking about how A/V and IT are merging and then continue with how different technologies help make our award winning MXA unique in many ways,” explained Chant Utukian, Regional Sales Manager at Shure MEA. "Let’s take Dante and our new Toroid polar pattern as an example. This approach helps the system integrators identify many factors involved in a system, where every single component is crucial for a perfect setup."

The NMK Roadshow was hailed a success. As it continues to organise educational events in the region, the distributor notes that the sixth version of its NMK Academy will begin in April 2017 in Dubai.
