Arabian Reseller: Thank you for speaking with us today, Mr. Sanal Das. Can you start by giving us an overview of NMK’s participation at GITEX 2024 and the products you are focusing on?

Sanal Das: It’s a pleasure to be here. This year at GITEX, we’re focusing on showcasing solutions rather than just individual products. We’ve set up an education room to highlight training room solutions, along with meeting room and boardroom setups, control room solutions, and more. Additionally, we’re displaying select products from our home, telecommunication, and broadcast portfolios. These setups are designed to provide a hands-on experience of how our solutions can cater to a wide range of industries.

Arabian Reseller: What is NMK’s vision and growth plan for the region?

Sanal Das: Our vision has always been to be the most trusted and customer-centric audiovisual distributor in the region. For over 35 years, we’ve been a leading distributor in the audio space, and in recent years, we’ve expanded into video, lighting, and unified communications. We aim to enhance our product portfolio, bridge gaps in our offerings, and solidify our standing in pro audio, live events, and UC solutions. Our growth strategy revolves around creating a holistic ecosystem of innovative AV solutions that meet the evolving needs of our partners and their customers.

Arabian Reseller: NMK has been in the audiovisual business for decades. Why do you believe quality AV products are so crucial in modern work environments?

Sanal Das: The role of AV products in work environments has never been more significant, especially with the rise of hybrid and remote work models. High-quality audio and video solutions enhance meeting efficiency, ensure clear communication, and foster better collaboration between remote and in-office teams. This clarity prevents miscommunication and creates an engaging and productive environment for all participants. Furthermore, investing in quality AV systems reflects an organization’s commitment to excellence and attention to detail, which is crucial in today’s competitive business landscape.

Arabian Reseller: NMK is known for its experience centers. Can you tell us more about what they offer to partners and customers?

Sanal Das: Our experience center, located in Al Quoz, Dubai, serves as a one-stop shop for our partners and their customers. It features boardroom, meeting room, and unified communication solutions, alongside a dedicated training facility. We also have an immersive room showcasing advanced projection mapping using Absen projectors and 7th Sense technology. Additionally, we offer a live demo facility for L-Acoustics’ L-ISA technology, the only one of its kind in the region, and a display of Chauvet lighting products. This center is designed to give our partners a comprehensive understanding of how different solutions work together, eliminating the need to visit multiple locations.
