Bosch Communication Systems, a business unit of Bosch Security Systems has awarded Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises the 2006 Best Distributor Award for Middle East and Africa.

The award is in recognition of NMK's efforts to establish the presence of the numerous brands under Bosch in the market, to maintain their market share and develop the best turnover amongst the other distributors within the territory.

NMK Electronics Enterprises are one of the major distributors of professional audio and lighting equipment in the Middle East, their numerous brands belong to the top 5 names of their respective categories. Their clientele include broadcasters, broadcast integrators, AV system integrators, live sound rental companies, music instrument dealers and end users. Since its inception in 1984 as a one man operation the company has steadily grown to a staff of 15 that cater to niche professional industry market.

Bosch Security Systems who are a major supplier of CCTV, access control and security systems in the world have recently established a new business called Bosch Communication Systems. This unit handles the brands under the recently acquisitioned Telex Communications for US$ 420 million. These brands include Audiocom, Dynacord, Electro-Voice, Klark Teknik, Midas, RadioCom, RTS Digital Matrix Intercom, RTS Two Wire, Telex and Vega.

The new award is in addition to NMK's previous accolades for Best Improved Sales in 2005, both the biggest speaker supply for a hotel (to Almoe AV Systems for the Madinat Jumeirah) and Best Distributor in 2003.
