The Dubai based rental firm providing light and sound services currently uses a digital mixing console from Soundcraft. The purchase includes the S-1608 Stage Unit, the S-0816 Front of House Unit, the S-4000R Remote and a 100m reel of CAT5e cable.

Qatar Vision, have recently purchased the Encore system from ClearCom’s UAE distributor Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises. Distributors in the Gulf for the Live Sound market segment, NMK have supplied the rental firm the new two-wire partyline intercom system in addition to other equipment. The deal includes a master station, belt stations and a number of CC-95 headsets.

Tempest 2.0 firmware is here! Version 2.0 firmware has many new features and improvements like “push to adjust volume” and “delayed channel switch”. Users can also have an unlimited number of belts using Split or Shared mode. Version 2.0 is now shipping on all new orders and is available for installation on all existing systems. Systems having belts with v1.14 radio firmware will be able to use all of the features of version 2.0 except for Shared mode. To utilize Shared mode belt radios must be upgraded to v1.15. Bases and remote transceivers do not need to be upgraded.
